Greater Pollok Heritage Group have a new web site: freewebs.com/greaterpollokheritagegroup
The Greater Pollok POST is a newspaper owned and produced by the Greater Pollok Community Forum Ltd. (GPCF) for the residents of Pollok, Newlands and Auldburn.
The POST is distributed bi-monthly, free of charge to about 17,000 households in the area.
To submit articles or to advertise in the POST please see the details below.
The Greater Pollok Post will be made available online here at the same time the printed version is distributed.
To read/download and of the issues just select the 'Downloads' or 'The POST' section via the menu at the left. Then click on the 'download' link below any of the items describing the issue you want to read. You can also right-click (cmnd-click on a mac) and select "save target as" if you want to download and save the pdf to read later.

The April/May issue of the POST was distributed to the pick-up points in the Greater Pollok, Newlands and Auldburn area in the week after Easter.
You can also find an online copy of the POST (and recent back issues) in the 'Downloads' section of the portal - in the menu at the right of the page select Downloads or The POST to access a list of online issues.
Greater Pollok Citizens Advice bureau provides a free, confidential information and advice service to members of the public dealing with a number of different subjects. For example
We are an independent, impartial agency and do not discriminate against anyone on grounds of race, sex, disability or sexuality.
To become an adviser you need to commit to at least 8 hours a week for a mimium of 6 months - 1 year post training, have an impartial approach and be willing to learn. Basic literancy/numeracy skills are a requirment.
Admin volunteers must be 16+
Advisors must be 18+
