Well, well, here we go again......

GPCF are advertising their 'AGM'.....which stands for ANNUAL general meeting.

Seems strange when almost a year ago, the so-called AGM was turned into an EGM with information that a 'real' AGM would follow in about 6 months, to allow the current Forum board to finish work already started......?

Since then the Forum, although unconstitutional, remained to be seen as a "ligitimate voice" within the Pollok Areas.

The areas covered by this Forum changed, so it made sense to make certain that any representatives would be from the new 'Planning Zone'.

Not so, almost 55% of the Forum now are located outwith the Planning Area, so not only do they become unconstitutional, they become unrepresentative of the general Forum areas.

Pity they were not accepted with all of their experience in the new Govan Areas, however, do we now see a move to continue with this dreadful committee for another term of office, and to allow these un-named  persons to sit in power to continue with the shambles they created by becoming a limited company, and therefore not bound by decency to even produce minutes of decisions they make on a regular basis.

I washed my hands of the whole quango a long time ago, however, let us make it clear to all.......i still have all the copies of the e-messages from the old Greater Pollok Website, and copies of replies from Forum Board, and to see this organisation continuing in its present format is.....'frightening'

Get a grip people.........Power corrupts, and the role of the Forum has now outlived  any extension in its current guise......might be better reverting to local Community Councils, who are at least accountable.
